The brief
A tea chain was opening stores faster than its uniform supply could keep up. Each new store ordered separately, so colours drifted between batches, sizes were inconsistent and replacements arrived too late for opening day.
The brand needed one uniform standard that could be repeated store by store, without asking every store manager to become a sourcing specialist.
What we did
- Matched the brand colour to a Pantone reference and kept the approved fabric swatch on file.
- Built one shared size set for men and women, with a size chart stores could use when collecting staff sizes.
- Produced in store batches instead of one large mixed order, so each opening received the right mix of sizes.
- Kept fabric and pattern records for repeat production, including decoration placement and thread colours.
The result
New stores now order from the same specification. Colour and fit stay consistent between batches, and replenishment no longer depends on a new sampling round.
A rollout checklist
- Approve one fabric and one colour standard.
- Agree a size chart and collect sizes by store.
- Confirm decoration placement with a production sample.
- Produce in batches with a shared specification.
- Keep fabric, pattern and decoration records for repeat orders.
If you are planning a multi-store rollout, send your store count, size breakdown and opening dates — we can suggest a batch plan before sampling.
